Malaysia's Icon Offshore Secures $14M Charters for 2 AHTS Vessels
Malaysia's Icon Offshore Berhad disclosed Tuesday that its wholly owned subsidiary Icon Offshore Group Sdn Bhd (IOGSB) has received two letters of award from an oil major to provide two anchor handling tug supply vessels (AHTS), the company said in an announcement on local stock exchange Bursa Malaysia.
The two year-long contracts, worth $14.47 million (MYR 55.0 million), commence July 5 and the client hold an option for a one year extension.
"Under the Long Term Contracts, IOGSB is required to provide amongst others, transportation of supplies from supply bases to drilling rigs/platforms and vice-versa to the oil major," the firm added.
