Circle Oil confirmed Friday gas flow rates at the LAM-1 well, located on the Lalla Mimouna Permit onshore Morocco.
The well’s primary target flowed gas at a stabilized rate of 1.9 million cubic feet per day and its secondary target indicated a stabilized rate of 1.1 MMcf per day. LAM-1, which was drilled to a target depth of 5,055 feet, was the first well drilled by Circle Oil on the Lalla Mimouna permit.
Circle is currently developing its second well on the permit, located on the northern flank of the East-West trending Anasba ridge. This well is targeting Miocene gas bearing sands and has a target depth of 3,484 feet. Initial results from this well could be available within approximately 20 days, according to Circle Oil.
