Woodside Varies GCS' Scaffolding Contract for North West Shelf Project
Global Construction Services Limited (GCS), an Australian construction and maintenance services company, announced Friday it has been awarded a contract variation to Dec. 31, 2017 on the principal scaffolding contract with Woodside as Operator of the North West Shelf Project's onshore and offshore locations in Western Australia.
The scope of the contract variation is for the ongoing supply, maintenance, storage, transport and handling of all scaffolding equipment to Dec. 31, 2017 with further 12 month extension options. GCS also supplies specialist management and labor resources for Woodside as required. The contract will be undertaken by GCS Group subsidiary, GCS Integrated Services Pty Ltd, which is based in the Northwest hub of Karratha and offers a comprehensive suite of integrated products and solutions to its customers.
"We are pleased this contract has been extended to Dec. 31, 2017 as it is testament to the quality of the products and services GCS has been providing Woodside over the last 2 years," said GCS Group Managing Director, Enzo Gullotti.
