Spain's Cepsa Wins Family-Friendly Award

Spanish oil company Cepsa announced Wednesday that it has been awarded "Family-Friendly Company" status after successfully passing audits conducted by AENOR (the Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification).

The Family-Friendly Company certification – which is sponsored by the not-for-profit  Fundación Másfamilia organization – includes compliance with measures related to: employment quality, flexibility, family support, work and family life balance, equal opportunities and professional development opportunities for employees.

The presentation of the award was made by Alfonso Alonso, Spain's Minister of Health, Social Services and Equality, and Antonio Trueba, President of Fundación Másfamilia.

Cepsa Human Resources Director Carlos Moran, who collected the award, commented in a company statement:

"Our company has a strong commitment to its professionals that also reaches their families. Throughout our history, we have incorporated new measures and policies to facilitate the development of our employees’ work and family lives, providing equal opportunities for talent without prejudice to other personal aspects."
