Lundin Appoints New Operations VP
Sweden's Lundin Petroleum announced Monday that it has appointed Nick Walker as its new senior vice president for development and operations.
Walker, who joins Lundin with immediate effect, will have responsibility for overseeing all the firm's development projects worldwide. He comes to Lundin from Africa Oil Corporation, where he had been chief operating officer. Before Africa Oil, Walker had served in various roles at Talisman Energy, Bow Valley and BP.
Lundin President and CEO Ashley Heppenstall commented in a statement:
"We welcome Nick to our senior management team. He has been involved in developing and operating major projects around the world and his experience will be invaluable as we continue to grow our production portfolio."
