Patterson-UTI Energy Announces Stock Buyback Program

Patterson-UTI Energy (Nasdaq: PTEN), reports that the Board of Directors has authorized a stock buyback program for the purchase of up to $30 million of the Company's outstanding common stock. Repurchases may be made from time to time as, in the opinion of management, market conditions warrant, in the open market or in privately negotiated transactions.
