Dolphin Accepts LOA for 3D Seismic Projects Offshore India
Norwegian seismic company Dolphin Geophysical AS reported Thursday that it has formally accepted the Letter of Award to perform two major 3D seismic projects in India for a repeat client. The contracts were previously announced by Dolphin in press release Oct. 17, where Dolphin was the preferred contractor in a public bid opening ceremony.
Dolphin will utilize two 3D seismic vessels for a total of approximately 10 months to complete the two projects, with work expected to begin in the fourth quarter of this year.
