FMC Wins Chinguetti Subsea Project

FMC Technologies has signed an agreement with Woodside Energy Ltd. to supply subsea systems and related services for Woodside's Chinguetti project, offshore Mauritania, West Africa. The contract value is approximately $89 million in revenues.

The agreement is within the scope of the preferred supplier agreement for subsea systems signed in 2003 between FMC Technologies and Woodside Energy. The Chinguetti project agreement includes 12 subsea trees, manifolds, production controls and associated systems. FMC Technologies also will furnish technical services related to installation and startup.

The Chinguetti development area is approximately 50 miles (80 kilometers) west of Mauritania, West Africa. The water depth in the area is approximately 2,620 feet (800 meters).
