Hoidi's Unit Clinches 4 Jackup Rig Leg Fabrication Contract from CMHI

Hoidi International Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based offshore engineering & construction company and a leading jackup leg specialist, reported Tuesday that its production division, Tianjin Hoidi Group Co. Ltd., have won a contract for the Rig Leg Fabrication of four Bestford Offshore Pte Ltd.'s Gusto MSC CJ46-X100-D jackups from China Merchant Heavy Industries (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd., who will be constructing the jackups in Mazhou Island, Shenzhen, China.

The scope of work consist of fabrication, installation, erection, extension and construction of a complete set of rig legs for these four jackups. These four Gusto MSC CJ46-X100-D-type drilling platforms is used mainly for the offshore oil and gas exploration and production jobs. Also, these CJ46 units can operate in water depths up to 350 feet, which can be lengthened to 375 feet and drill at a depth of 30,000 feet. The delivery of these units are expected mainly in 2015.
