Mirach Receives Government Approval for Cambodia Block D's EIA Report
Mirach Energy Ltd. announced Monday that its associate company, CPHL (Cambodia) Company Limited (the Company), has received the approval from the Ministry of Environment in Cambodia for the Initial Environmental Social Impact Assessment Report (IESIA) report for drilling in offshore Cambodia (Block D).
The Company had commissioned International Environmental Management Company Limited and SAWAC Consultants For Development Company Limited to jointly work on and issue the Environmental Impact Assessment report required by the Ministry of Environment in Cambodia for drilling in Block D.
With the approval from the Ministry of Environment in Cambodia, the Company can commence on the Environmental Management Plan and drilling plan.
In addition to the above, the Company is currently considering the terms for the extension of the exploration period with the General Department of Petroleum, to be announced upon acceptance of the terms of extension.
