PEMEX Announces New Tender to Lease Semisub
PEMEX Procurement International, Inc. (“PPI”), acting on behalf of PEMEX’s E&P Division, PEMEX-Exploración y Producción (“PEP”), has issued a New International Public Tender for the Lease without an option to buy, of one semi-submersible drilling platform, S/S “M1”, with a minimum capacity to operate in water depths of at least 1,500 feet, and drilling capacity of at least 25,000 feet deep, including crew for its operation and maintenance. The platform will operate in Mexican waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
The date programed for the first clarification meeting is Sept. 11. The estimated lead time of the project is 823 calendar days, as stated in the call for tender document (click here).
PPI is a wholly owned affiliate company of Petróleos Mexicanos (“PEMEX”) incorporated in the state of Delaware on February 18th, 1994. PPI is based in Houston, TX, and assists PEMEX and its Subsidiaries in the execution of their international procurement needs.
