FlexGen CEO: Hybrid Generator Offers Several Advantages for Oil, Gas

FlexGen Power Systems, makers of solid-state generators that have been field-tested by the U.S. military and are now available to the oil and gas industry, has completed demonstrations of its hybrid generator system The company is partnering with HOLT CAT and Wagner CAT, two of Caterpillar’s largest North American distributors, to distribute the generators, CEO Josh Prueher said at the 2014 Offshore Technology Conference.
