Cooper Energy Completes Acquisition of 65% Stake in BMG JV in Australia
Cooper Energy Limited (Cooper Energy), an Australia-based exploration and production company, disclosed Thursday that the transactions to effect the acquisition of a 65 percent interest in the Basker Manta Gummy oil and gas liquids joint venture (BMG) in Australia announced to the ASX March 31 have now been completed.
Cooper Energy now holds a 65 percent interest in the production licenses Vic/L26, Vic/L27 and Vic/L28. Beach Energy holds the balance of the interest in the joint venture. The parties are now attending to the various regulatory filings and lodgements to finalize the transfers.
