Lexington Resources Acquires Acreage at Coal Creek Prospect

Lexington Resources has closed the lease of a further 440 acres of drillable gas target in the Coal Creek CBM Gas Prospect located in Hughes and Pittsburg Counties, Oklahoma. The recent acquisition brings total acreage in the Coal Creek Gas Prospect to 1,976 gross acres. The Company has paid an additional $121,000 for the subject lease. The prospect's area of mutual interest ("AMI") is comprised of approximately 10,240 gross acres. The primary drilling target on the acquired acreage is the Hartshorne coal at approximately 3,500 to 4,000 feet. The Company plans for drilling of horizontal wells into the coal seams located on the prospect; the full section obtained in the lease could support two further wells.

As previously announced, an offsetting CBM well drilled recently in proximity to the AMI is currently producing approximately 400 MCF/gas per day.
