Chariot Completes Moroccan Seismic Survey
Africa explorer Chariot Oil & Gas reported Tuesday that it has completed a 654-square mile 3D seismic data survey across its areas of interest offshore Morocco.
The survey encompassed 413 square miles in Rabat Deep, 96 square miles in Loukos Offshore and 144 square miles in Mohammedia Reconnaissance – all of which Chariot has a 75-percent stake in. It is designed to help the company mature drillable prospects in the Mio-Pliocene and Jurassic plays identified within this region on reprocessed legacy 2D data.
Chariot expects to complete the interpretation of the new data by the end of this year, with a resource update to follow.
