SeaBird Clinches 2D Seismic Survey Contract for Australasia
Norway's seismic survey company SeaBird Exploration Plc reported Wednesday that the firm's Aquila Explorer vessel has clinched a contract for 2D survey in the Australasia region.
The contract, which will take around 50 days to complete, is worth approximately $5.5 million. Aquila Explorer bagged three seismic survey contracts in mid-March, which included one off the North West Shelf of Australia and two in New Zealand.
SeaBird converted Aquila Explorer to a 2D-Source vessel in Singapore in 2007.
