Rockhopper Confirms Board Changes
Falkland Islands explorer Rockhopper Exploration confirmed Thursday that non-executive directors John Crowle and Chris Walton will step down from its board at the end of March. They will be succeeded by John Summers and Keith Lough.
Summers is a geologist who worked for BG Group for 29 years, holding a variety of roles including those of Vice President Exploration and Chief Geologist. Lough, who becomes chairman of the company's audit & risk committee, has more than 30 years of experience in the natural resources sector in both senior finance and general management roles.
The changes mean that existing director Bob Peters will become Senior Independent Director at Rockhopper.
In late February, Rockhopper announced that Stewart MacDonald had been appointed as its new CFO.
