Change of Chairman for Seismic Firm SeaBird
Norwegian seismic survey firm SeaBird Exploration announced Wednesday that it is proposing to appoint Åge Korsvold as its new chairman after revealing that its current chairman, Henrik Christensen, does not wish to continue in the role.
SeaBird said that it is calling for an extraordinary general meeting ahead of its AGM, which is scheduled for May 13, in order to approve the appointment.
Åge Korsvold is currently a board member of Timex Group B.V., Sapa AS, Green Resources AS, and Aweco Invest AS. Previously, he was CEO of Orkla, Kistefos and Storebrand.
