Perdana Petroleum Wins $15M LOA from Talisman Malaysia for AHTS Vessel
Malaysia's offshore services provider Perdana Petroleum Berhad disclosed Thursday that its wholly-owned unit Perdana Nautika Sdn Bhd (PNSB) has accepted a letter of award (the LOA) Jan. 10 from Talisman Malaysia Limited for the charter of one unit of Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessel.
The AHTS charter will run from Dec. 10, 2013 for a period of one year with option to extend for an additional year.
The LOA has a contract value of approximately $15.1 million (MYR 50.0 million).
Perdana Petroleum has indicated in its financial report for the third quarter of 2013 that Malaysia's national upstream firm Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd has awarded the company long-term contracts, covering a charter period of five years plus option for one year extension - for four AHTS vessels in the first quarter of 2013.
