ROC Oil Appoints Mike Harding as Chairman

Australia's ROC Oil Company Limited announced Wednesday that the firm has appointed Mike Harding as chairman of the Board and the retirement of Andrew Love as chairman and a director effective Dec. 11.

Love welcomed Harding’s appointment as chairman saying, "Mike has broadened and strengthened the skills and experience of the ROC Board since joining in 2012. He will excel in his role as chairman and provide strong and consistent leadership."

Harding is currently chairman of Downer EDI Limited, a non-executive director of Santos Limited and Transpacific Industries Group Ltd. He has held management positions around the world with British Petroleum, including President and General Manager of BP Exploration Australia.

Harding thanked Love for his 16 years of service on the ROC Board: "Andrew has given distinguished service to ROC since 1997. His wisdom and contribution to ROC as chairman has been outstanding and greatly appreciated. On behalf of his ROC colleagues, I thank him for his considerable contribution and wish him the very best for the future".

Well lets hope the new chairman can breath some life into the share price north of the current record lows About time mgmt pulled finger and started a Buyback of stock. absolute joke that ROC mgmt should get well paid while the owners (Shareholders) get nothing
