EWC Spuds Walanga #3 Well in Sengkang PSC in South Sulawesi
Hong kong-based Energy World Corporation Ltd. revealed Tuesday that following the completion of the Walanga #2 Well and further to the previously announced drilling program for WASAMBO (Walanga - Sampi Sampi - Bonge) gas fields within the Sengkang Production Sharing Contract (PSC) in South Sulawesi, Indonesia, the company is progressing on schedule and the Walanga #3 Well was spud Nov. 11 at 12:00 p.m.
The program involves drilling four gas production wells, being: Sampi Sampi #1 Twinning, Walanga #1 Twinning, Walanga #2 Twinning and Walanga #3, and is expected to be completed around mid-December. Each of the wells will target the Tacipi formation at a total depth of 2,600 feet.
