Production Resumes at Causeway, Cormorant East Fields

Canada's Antrim Energy reported Friday that the Causeway and Cormorant East fields in the North Sea have resumed production.

The fields had been taken offline because of routine maintenance on the North Cormorant platform, which has now been completed.

Production rates from the Causeway field are expected to rise over the next year with the start-up of electrical submersible pumps and the beginning of water injection.

Antrim holds a 35.5-percent working interest in the Causeway field, while it has an 8.4-percent stake in the Cormorant East field.
