Aker to Expand Oslo Office Capacity
Further evidence that Aker Solutions expects to see increased demand for its oilfield services during the next few years emerged Thursday with the company announcing it is expanding its office capacity in Oslo, Norway from 2016.
Aker, which has been targeting annual revenue growth of between nine and 15 percent through to 2015, said it has agreed to lease a building near its offices in the Fornebu suburb of Oslo for an initial period of 12 years, beginning in 2016.
The property is under construction and will have approximately 345,000 square feet of office and common-area space on completion. Aker already has long-term leases for two nearby office buildings, including its main office.
