Board Changes at Andes Energia
South America-focused Andes Energia announced Wednesday that it has appointed Matthieu Milandri as a non-executive director, while Rudoplh Berends – current vice chairman of the company – has stepped down from its board of directors.
Milandri has been an investment director at Mercuria Energy Trading since December 2011 and focuses on upstream oil and gas assets for the firm. Prior to joining Mercuria he was CFO of upstream business Candax Energy and a business development manager at Geopetrol.
Andes Chairman Nicolas Mallo Huergo commented in a company statement:
"We are very happy with the appointment of Matthieu. We look forward to being able to benefit from his significant experience and expertise. I would like to welcome Matthieu to the board and also take this opportunity to thank Rudolph for his valuable contribution during his tenure."
