Snospurv Seismic Survey Now Complete
Searcher Seismic announced Friday that it and its partner SeaBird Exploration have completed their 3,845-mile Snøspurv 2D high-resolution multi-client seismic survey.
The survey aimed to provide the critical well tie link from the Bjarmeland and Finnmark platforms to the Barents Sea South East area. It was also designed to seamlessly integrate with the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate data acquired in 2011 and 2012, so creating a "package of choice" for exploring what the companies describe as some of the "most sought after" acreage available for the Norwegian 23rd offshore licensing round.
The companies said that preliminary data products will be available for participating companies from the third quarter of this year, with full delivery in 4Q 2013.
