Flow-Cal to Serve as Member of UHCL's Corporate Partners Program

Flow-Cal, Inc., the market leader in measurement data management for natural gas and petroleum liquids, announced it has entered into a Corporate Partners Program with the Career Services office at the University of Houston - Clear Lake, located in Houston, Texas. Flow-Cal will serve as the inaugural member of the Corporate Partners Program beginning the fall semester. In addition, Flow-Cal will be sponsoring an interview room which will be outfitted with the company’s logo and branding.

The UHCL Office of Career Services offers a number of programs to help students determine their career path and employers to find the best workers. UHCL’s Career Services Corporate Partners Program creates a formal structure for recognition of annual giving by companies who support the UHCL career development and leadership programs. As UHCL transitions to become a four-year university, this program is expected to effectively meet the needs of the increased student and alumni population.

“While the UHCL Office of Career Services receives support from student fees, it receives no direct state funding,” said UH-Clear Lake Associate Director of Career Services Chuck Crocker. “By offering sponsorship opportunities to our corporate supporters, we can provide the types of experiences and programs needed to develop the professional and leadership skills of our students. We are extremely appreciative of the generosity and support from Flow-Cal to become our Corporate Partner and Sponsor.”

With the U.S. fuel market flourishing, Flow-Cal is experiencing unprecedented growth which is necessitating the expansion of Flow-Cal’s headcount and organization in order to scale with the welcomed growth. As the demand for resources increase, Flow-Cal has turned to UHCL, as well as other colleges and universities, to seek out top-shelf recruits to fill new positions.

“As we have developed a relationship with UHCL over the years, we have seen firsthand the care and hard work of the Career Services Office in helping both students and employers,” said Michael Squyres, Flow-Cal’s president and CEO “With a significant portion of our staff UHCL alumni, we have already seen the impact these recruiting programs can have.  We are honored to be the charter Corporate Partner and Interview Room Sponsor and are looking forward to strengthening our relationship as both the University and Flow-Cal continue to grow.”
