Fabricom Moves to Bigger Aberdeen Office
Fabricom Offshore Services announced Wednesday that new business and an increase in its capability has led it to move into larger offices in Aberdeen less than a year since it established a presence in the city.
The firm added that it has made two new senior appointments to reinforce its organization. Mike Grant, who has more than 30 years' experience in offshore oil and gas and the petrochemicals industry, has been appointed Aberdeen projects development manager. Pat Martin, previously Fabricom's lead electrical and instrument engineer, has been appointed as office engineering manager for the Aberdeen site.
Fabricom's Aberdeen operation will support the company's Newcastle office by the provision of a management and engineering team that is focused on the execution and delivery of concept studies and front end engineering design (FEED), as well as providing construction management services.
Fabricom CEO Allan Cairns commented in a statement:
"The expansion of our Aberdeen operation and the move to larger premises represents a major milestone for Fabricom Offshore Services. It not only demonstrates the company’s growth but fortifies Fabricom's continued commitment to further develop and expand our business in the North Sea, across the United Kingdom Continental Shelf (UKCS) and beyond."
