Harriet JV to P&A South Plato-4 Appraisal Well

The Harriet Joint Venture spud the South Plato-4 appraisal well last week. The well is located in TL/6 offshore Australia. The South Plato-4 appraisal well was drilled as a deviated sidetrack from the existing South Plato Platform to intersect the possibility of hydrocarbons not being accessed from the current production wells.

The South Plato-4 has since drilled to total depth and intersected a 2-meter oil column above a residual oil zone. This result indicates that the oil intersected in South Plato-4 will be produced by the existing production wells and hence the well will be plugged and abandoned.

The Ensco 56 is moving to another Harriet Joint Venture well location, the Monet-1, and is expected to spud this week.

Harriet Joint Venture Participants are Apache Energy Limited as operator with 68.5%; Kufpec Australia with 18.2771% and Tap Oil with the remaining 12.2229%.
