Max Petroleum Wraps Up Drilling Ops at Block E

Max Petroleum Plc announced that it has completed drilling the BSBNE-1 exploration well on the Besbolek North-East prospect on Block E. The well reached a total depth of 1,328 meters without encountering producible hydrocarbons. The well will now be plugged and abandoned. The Zhanros rig will next move to drill the Eskene North exploration prospect in Block E targeting mean resources of 9 million barrels of oil.
