Max Petroleum Begins Drilling Kazakh BSBNE-1 Well
Max Petroleum Plc has commenced drilling the BSBNE-1 exploration well on the Besbolek North-East prospect on Block E using the Zhanros Drilling's ZJ-20 rig. Total vertical depth of the well will be approximately 5,184 feet (1,580 meters). The Besbolek North-East Prospect is a four-way anticline targeting unrisked mean resources of 10 million barrels of oil in Triassic reservoirs.
