Endeavour Names Management Team

Endeavour International Corporation has announced the appointment of the executive team that will lead the newly created company focused on the acquisition, exploration and development of natural gas and oil properties in the North Sea.

William L. Transier and John N. Seitz will serve as joint chief executive officers and directors of the company. Transier was formerly executive vice president and chief financial officer of Ocean Energy, Inc. prior to its merger with Devon Energy Corporation. Seitz was previously chief executive officer, chief operating officer and president of Anadarko Petroleum Corporation.

Other members of the management team include:

  • Michael D. Cochran, Ph.D., executive vice president exploration, who was previously senior vice president, strategy and planning, for Anadarko;
  • Bruce H. Stover, executive vice president operations and business development, who was previously senior vice president, worldwide business development, for Anadarko;
  • H. Don Teague, executive vice president, administration, general counsel and secretary, who was previously an officer and general counsel for two major corporations;
  • Ronald A. Bain, Ph. D., vice president geosciences, who served in numerous lead exploration management roles at Anadarko and was founder and president of ConRon Consulting, Inc., a geo-technical consulting firm;
  • Robert L. Thompson, vice president, chief accounting officer and corporate planning, who previously served as vice president and controller of Ocean Energy, Inc.
