Goodrich Makes Another Louisiana Discovery
Goodrich Petroleum Corporation announced a new discovery on its Louis Prospect at Burrwood field in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana.
The S.L. 2552 No. 5 well, which is located in Louis Prospect at Burrwood Field, logged 33' of net pay in three separate zones was drilled and logged to a total depth of 10,685 feet and encountered pay in the 9050', 9100' and 10100' sands. The Company tested the 10100' sand through perforations from 10310-10346' which yielded 298 barrels of oil, 231 thousand cubic feet of gas and 5 barrels of water per day on an 8/64 inch choke with 2005# of flowing tubing pressure. The well, which had a bottom hole pressure of 4367#, ran 150' high to downdip wells that produced from the 10100' sand. Goodrich owns a 95 percent working interest in this well.
