Saipem Secures E&C Onshore Contracts for $1.3B
Saipem announced Monday it had been awarded E&C contracts worth approx. $1.3B onshore in the Middle East and North Africa region.
Etihad Rail awarded the Saipem-led joint venture an engineering and construction contract for the railway tract linking the Shah and Habshan fields to the Port of Ruwais.
The railway tract will cover 260 kilometers and will be completed by the end of 2014.
JV partners include Saipem, Dodsal Engineering and Construction and Maire Tecnimont.
Saipem, along with Bouygues Travaux Publics and Bouygues Maroc, secured an EPC contract with Tangier Mediterranean Special Agency for the expansion of the Port of Tangier.
