Apache Gets Environmental Nod for Julimar, Brunello Fields
Apache has received environmental approval for the development of the Julimar and Brunello offshore natural gas fields.
The development will feed natural gas to the Wheatstone LNG project offshore Australia. Apache expects to make a final investment decision on the first phase of the project in the second half of 2011 after the FEED is completed.
The Julimar and Brunello gas fields are located in exploration permit WA-356-P, about 112 miles (180 kilometers) west of Dampier in Western Australia.
