Lundin Spuds Skalle Well Offshore Norway
Lundin Petroleum has commenced exploratory drilling of well 7120/2-3 on the Skalle prospect in PL438. The main objective of the well is to test Cretaceous and Jurassic/Triassic age sandstones of a multiple target structure.
The planned total depth is 8,694 feet (2,650 meters) and is being drilled by the Transocean Leader semisub. Drilling is expected to take about 60 days.
