Statoil Receives BOEMRE's Sixth GOM Drilling Permit
The Bureau of Ocean Management, Regulation and Enforcement has approved Statoil’s plan to drill a well in Alaminos Canyon block 810 in the Gulf of Mexico, in a water depth of 7,134 feet (2,174 meters), about 216 miles (348 kilometers) off the Texas coastline.
