Statoil: Oseberg Field Center Open; Troll Field Repairs Complete
LONDON (Dow Jones Newswires), Jan. 31, 2011
Repair work at Statoil's Troll and Oseberg fields in Norway has been completed and the Oseberg field should return to full production over the course of the day, company spokesman Ola Anders Skauby said Monday.
The field center on the Oseberg field had been shut since the discovery of a gas leak on Platform A last Monday, while gas production on the Troll field was reduced Thursday as the field underwent planned maintenance.
It is not yet clear when the Troll field will return to full production, but the repair work on the field is complete, Skauby added.
