Inpex, EMPI Finalize Transfer of Masela Interest
Inpex has transferred 10% of its interest in the Masela Block to PT EMP Energi Indonesia. The Masela Block contains the Adadi field, discovered in 2000, located in the Arafura Sea, Indonesia. According to the field's approved development plan, Abadi will be developed by an FLNG facility with production expecting to commence in 2016. Inpex is currently seeking support form the Indonesian government and other stakeholders for an early production of the Abadi project.
