MEO Gets Go-Ahead to Drill Artemis-1 Well

The Western Australian Department of Mines & Petroleum has granted approval to MEO Australia Limited to drill the Artemis-1 well in the WA-360-P permit. Drilling is expected to commence in the upcoming weeks. The Artemis prospect is situated on WA-360-P in the Carnarvon Basin in 656 feet (200 meters) of water offshore Australia. MEO Australia serves as the operator of the gas prospect, holding a 25% interest; Petrobras holds 50% interest; CUE Energy Resources Limited holds 15% interest; and Moby Oil and Gas holds the remaining 10% interest.
