Norwegian Production Declines in March

Norwegian production decreased month-on-month in March, according to the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate’s (NPD) latest preliminary output figures.

An average daily production of 1.901 million barrels of oil, NGL and condensate was recorded in the preliminary figures for March, which is a decrease of 46,000 barrels per day compared to February.

Average daily liquids production last month comprised 1.519 million barrels of oil, 352,000 barrels of NGL and 29,000 barrels of condensate, according to the NPD. Oil production was approximately five percent lower than the NPD’s forecast.
