Neptune Shifts UK MD to EU VP Role
Neptune Energy has appointed Pete Jones, the managing director of the company's UK business, as vice president of operations for Europe.

Neptune Energy revealed Monday that it has appointed Pete Jones, the managing director of the company’s UK business, as vice president of operations for Europe.

The process for appointing a new managing director for the UK is underway, according to Neptune. In the interim, Jones will continue to oversee operations in the country.

“Pete’s energy, passion and vision have been key to driving success in our UK business and we look forward to him growing our European operations, which include key projects in the UK and Norway,” Jim House, CEO of Neptune, said in a company statement.

Neptune also announced Monday that Philip Lafeber will join the executive management team in his current role as vice president of operations for North Africa and Asia Pacific. Bruce Webb, vice president of operations at the company, will leave the business, Neptune revealed.

Neptune Energy is one of Europe’s largest independent exploration and production companies, according to the company’s website. The business has operations in the North Sea, mainland Europe, North Africa and the Asia-Pacific region.

In its first half results for 2019, Neptune reported operating cash flow of $613 million and total daily production of 148,500 barrels of oil equivalent.
