Neptune Adds Two Senior-Level People to Its Roster

Neptune Energy Group, an independent oil and gas E&P company whose core region is the North Sea, has appointed two senior people to its organization.

Gro Gunleiksrud Haatvedt will now be Neptune’s vice president and group head of exploration. She previously served as the senior vice president for exploration at Aker BP ASA. Prior to that, she served as senior vice president for the Norwegian Shelf at Equinor. During her time at Equinor, the company made the huge Johan Sverdrup discovery – one of the Norwegian Continental Shelf’s largest discoveries.

Amanda Chilcott joins Neptune as its Group Human Resources Director. She previously served as Human Resources Director of the Power Solutions division at Aggreko Plc.

In a company release, Neptune Energy Group’s CEO Jim House praised both Haatvedt and Chilcott for having “exceptional track records” in their fields and believes they’ll be integral in helping Neptune to become a leading independent E&P company.
