Keppel Infrastructure Acquires 20% Stake in MET Group
Keppel Corporation Limited subsidiary Keppel Infrastructure has completed its acquisition of a 20 percent stake in European energy company MET Group.

Keppel Corporation Limited subsidiary Keppel Infrastructure has completed its acquisition of a 20 percent stake in European energy company MET Group.

The deal was first announced Dec. 5, 2019.

After Keppel’s acquisition, it will gain representation on MET Group’s board of directors.

The two companies also entered into a strategic partnership to explore investment opportunities focused on European energy infrastructure assets.

As the infrastructure arm of Keppel Corp., Keppel Infrastructure provides energy services, anchored by an integrated natural gas and power business in Singapore.

MET Group refers to itself as one of the largest independent energy suppliers in Central and Eastern Europe.
