EM&I Group Recruits New CEO

International asset integrity specialist EM&I Group has appointed Pat Lawless as its new chief executive officer.

Lawless, previously the company’s chief operating officer, takes over from EM&I founder Danny Constantinis, who will head up the board as executive chairman.

“EM&I has always been a leader in the field of asset integrity, and as we continue pioneering developments in digitization and robotics, I am confident that this is the right time to hand over the day to day management to a new and highly experienced CEO,” Constantinis said in a company statement.

“We have been planning this move for some time which will enable me to focus on strategic growth, and key relationships with clients, regulators, joint industry projects and joint venture partners,” he added.

Earlier this month, EM&I appointed Neil Woodcock as its regional general manager for Europe and Africa.

Woodcock had previously worked as resident country and operations manager for SBM´s Offshore facilities in Vietnam, Turkmenistan, Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea, USA, Gulf of Mexico and Brazil.  He had also worked as the general manager of MODEC Ghana, responsible for Tullow and MODEC facilities.

Woodcock, who reports to Lawless, said he was looking forward to his new role with EM&I, in a company statement at the time.
