EEEGR Cancels Flagship Event due to Adverse Weather

The East of England Energy Group (EEEGR) announced Wednesday that it has cancelled its flagship Southern North Sea conference due to adverse weather conditions.

Earlier today EEEGR revealed that it had cancelled the first of the two day event, which takes place from February 28 to March 1.

A cold spell, dubbed ‘the Beast from the East’ in the UK, has blanketed much of Europe in snow over the last couple of days. The BBC reported that dozens of roads have been closed and trains and flights cancelled across the continent, as temperatures plummeted to as low as -30C (-22F).
