French oilfield services firm Technip will work on the Liwan 3-1 shallow water project, located 190 miles south of Hong Kong.

CNOOC says that its contractor, Offshore Oil Engineering Corporation Ltd, during the examination of the jacket by ROV, discovered partial deformation in parts of the underwater structure of the jacket for PY30-1 project.
