BP Named One of Best Employers for LGBT Staff
BP plc has been named on Stonewall’s list of the best multinational employers for lesbian, gay, bi and trans (LGBT) staff.
Commenting on its achievement, BP said in a statement on its Twitter page that it was “delighted” to be named as one of Stonewall’s top global employers.

Stonewall’s top global employers list is compiled from submissions to the organization’s Global Workplace Equality Index, which it describes as a “powerful benchmarking tool used by employers to create inclusive workplaces across the markets in which they operate”.
Other companies named in the top global employers list in 2018 include Accenture, Barclays, Herbert Smith Freehills, and Vodafone.
Stonewall is an organization which campaigns for the equality of LGBT people.
