Atlas Professionals Buys Brander
Energy and marine recruitment and HR specialist Atlas Professionals revealed Tuesday that it has acquired technical recruitment company Brander.
Atlas Professionals expects to strengthen its position in the drilling and offshore, engineering, decommissioning and renewables market with the acquisition, according to a company statement posted on Atlas Professionals’ website yesterday.
“Brander has an impressive track record in offshore sectors which perfectly complements the business activities of Atlas Professionals in the energy, marine and renewables industries,” Marcel Burghouwt, managing director at Atlas Professionals, said in a company statement.
“Besides this, Atlas recognize that Brander have built some fantastic relationships with professionals and clients which made this acquisition a perfect fit”, he added.
Commenting on the deal, Ian Brander, the former owner of Brander said, “it gives me great pleasure that a professional company as Atlas Professionals is now taking over. I’m positive Atlas is able to look after the company and take it to the next level”.
Atlas, which was founded in 1982, describes itself as a “no-nonsense, dependable HR service provider in the energy and marine industries”. The company has offices all over the world. Brander describes itself as a “leading technical recruitment consultancy in the UK Top 500 Agencies and in the Business Insider SME Top 300”. It is based in Aberdeen, Scotland.
