Apache Corp. has awarded Wood a commissioning services contract for multiple U.K. North Sea platforms.

Under the contract, Wood will deploy its fully digital GoTechnology hub2 online completions management system for the Beryl Alpha, Beryl Bravo, and Forties Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta platforms, the company reported in a written statement Thursday.

“GoTechnology represents Wood’s commitment to driving value for our customers through innovation, agility and ingenuity,” Matt Nesbitt, Wood’s vice president of commissioning, commented. “This contract award highlights the important steps we have taken with Apache to continually challenge ourselves, maintain high standards and be more cost effective.”

According to Wood’s website, the GoTechnology application tracks, monitors and reports on myriad project elements and can be accessed remotely. The company also stated can be integrated with third-party tools such as engineering data warehouses, project planning tools and maintenance management systems.

“We look forward to continuing our valued relationship with Apache toward the successful delivery of this commissioning contract,” noted Nesbitt.
