Aberdeen Services Company Secures Chrysaor Deal
Oil and gas procurement specialist, Craig International, has secured a new services deal with Chrysaor, which will see the company provide procurement services to the Armada, Everest and Lomond gas platforms in the UK Continental Shelf.
The workscope will see Craig International responsible for the procurement of consumables and ad-hoc procurement services to support operations for the three assets.
The contract, which has created a new position in the company’s Aberdeen base, will have a dedicated team, headed by a senior buyer, for the duration of the one year contract. The deal also has two one-year options included.
“This is a significant contract for Craig International as we continue to expand our operations in the North Sea. With all our clients we strive to use our experience and expertise to help develop cost effective procurement solutions that add value to their business,” said Steve McHardy, joint managing director at Craig International, in a company statement.
“We believe in building long term relationships with our clients and becoming their trusted business partners and we look forward to working closely with Chrysaor in the coming years,” he added.
Chrysaor recently completed the acquisition of a package of assets in the UK North Sea from Royal Dutch Shell plc for a price of $3 billion. The transaction saw Chrysaor become the leading independent exploration and production company in the UK.
